Have been coming here for quite a few times. I love the food especially chili pan mee, its definitely next level!! Other than that, i love the carrot cake here as well, its quite flavorful!! Overall i love my dining experience here and of course food as well!!
Both noodles( chili pan mee & ru rou noodle) are quite nice. The vegetable soup is bit salty but nice to drink The bubur chacha is pretty decent. The pumpkin dessert is burnt but shop willing to exchange to bubur chacha. Price reasonable.
"Home-y" flavours and cozy ambience. Not many of my evenings can beat this. Have taken a liking to this place as it is comfortable, staff are really friendly, and the food is good. Nice place to visit and wind down after a long day of classes. Was really hungry today, so I ordered the steamed kaya bread and a "Lap Cheong" garlic fried rice with add-ons of their signature braised pork and an egg. Definitely ordering again
This restaurant is located in Setapak and opened in August last year. Though low-profile, it has already attracted many regular customers. Situated on the second floor, it gets especially lively during lunchtime, with many university students coming here for a meal! Here’s what we ordered: Signature Chili Pan Mee – 10/10 The soul of this dish is its spicy chili sauce, perfectly mixed with springy handmade noodles. Highly recommended! Braised Pork Rice with Egg – 8/10 The flavorful braised pork pairs well with the golden runny egg, making it a solid choice. Milky Pork Bone Soup with Preserved Vegetables & Minced Pork – 9/10 Rich and creamy with a naturally sweet pork bone broth—very satisfying! Black Glutinous Rice Dessert – 8/10 A classic sweet treat that’s just the right amount of sweetness. Kopi C – 8/10 Orange Juice – 8/10 Overall Rating: Food: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Service: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ambience: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Lao Bu Jia Kopitiam Setapak 15, Jalan Malinja 2, Taman Bunga Raya, 53000 Kuala Lumpur Opening Hours: 10 AM – 9 PM Closed on Sundays
Chilli Pan Mee is pretty good and authentic. Not easy to find this style of Chilli pan mee. Nyonya laksa also pretty rich. Overall the food all feel very genuine and authentic, and the 2 chefs really look very detailed in their art when preparing the food. Surprised with the extensive menu for a small cafe like this.
Best “lat jiu pan mee” and “lu rou mien” ever!!! Teh and Kopi also VERY GAOO Flavourful, nostalgic and addictive - there’s no turning back !! P.S. they have the cutest and widest range of menu! And their hospitality
I love the food!!! Truly recommend to try their Nasi Lemak! The sambal is very nice
